SBS first started business as Cold Spaces, Inc. in June 1976.  At that time, Cold Spaces primary business was installing coolers and freezers for food processors and an occasional restaurant.  The sales of FRP at this time were just developing.  As time went on, our involvement in the cold storage market became less and FRP became more popular.  In 1984 we exited the cold storage market as a contractor and devoted our efforts to selling FRP products, other specialty interior products and cold storage products.  Today we well over 2 million square feet of FRP and all the required accessories.  Because of our time in contracting we understand the importance of on time deliveries and maintaining sufficient inventories. 
George Parker, President of SBS.  I have held this position since the company first started in 1976.  My family includes my wife Judy, daughters Pamela and Candace and my new grandson Dylan GEORGE.  Judy and I live in Katy, Texas.

Gilbert Monterroza, Outside Sales.  I have been with Specialized Building Systems since 2008.  I started as Warehouse Manager and moved into Sales.  When not at work, I spend time with my wife Yesenia and 2 year old daughter Emily.  We enjoy going to the park and trying out new restaurants.

Juan Diaz, Warehouse Manager. I have several years of experience.  I am the 3rd child out of 9.  My family includes my wife Maria, sons Nathan and Juan III and daughter Angelique Diaz.  We are a very outgoing family.

Grace Odom, Office Manager of SBS.  I was born in Ecuador and moved to the United States at the age of 3.  I graduated from Langham Creek High School , and have been with Specialized Building Systems since 1995.  My family includes my daughters Mia and Mya (not twins), my finace Joe, his son Gabriel, along with our Miniature Dachshund Sassy and Pitbull King.

Jeff Silva, Estimator and Inside Sales for SBS.  I have been with Specialized Building Systems since early 2010 starting as Warehouse Manager. I was born and raised in Rosenberg, Texas.  I now reside in Jersey Village with my wife Elizabeth and our son Jeremy Michael Silva...who is super cool!!!

Elias Alonso, joined Specialized Building Systems in 2001 shortly after leaving the Marine Corps.  I am now part of the sales department after starting as Warehouse Manager.  On weekends I enjoy grilling and watching DALLAS COWBOYS FOOTBALL with my wife Irene and daughter Natalie.

I have been with Specialized Building Systems for 3 years.  I went to Texas Tech University and Sam Houston State.  I have a degree in Speech Communication and Journalism with emphasis in Public Relations and Marketing.  I currently attend Rice University taking Spanish.  Currently my favorite thing to do is play with my nephew Dylan.
